There are mosques in Ayder, Çamlıhemşin and every village along the route, and most restaurants have prayer space nearby.
Language
Arabic is spoken by some hotel staff and drivers but not everywhere. Booking through a local team avoids language problems on the road.
Weather expectations
Even in July, Ayder is around 15–22°C with rain most weeks. Pack layers and a light waterproof jacket.
